My journey started in February with my annual physical. The problem with this, is I was and I am feeling fine. Results found that I had high cretinen levels and impaired kidney function. To meet the specialist took another two months. Blood tests, bone marrow biopsy, lots of questions, family history, medical history, and fear of the unknown- the results are confirmed multiple myeloma stage II.
Now my journey begins in earnest. Visited the oncologist today and hopefully the treatment starts next week. My team and I are looking to get this MM in remission.
In this blog, I’ll note the trials, successes and set backs. So here we go!
